Jadan Baugh burst onto the SEC scene in 2025, ranking third in the conference with 1,170 rushing yards and eight touchdowns while handling 18.3 carries per game. His blend of power and agility helped the Gators secure key victories and kept defenses guessing.
A Milestone Within Reach
Building on that production, Baugh now eyes a career total that exceeds 3,000 yards by the end of the 2026 season. The target reflects both his personal ambition and the belief that the Gators can sustain a high‑octane ground attack.
The junior’s trajectory was set early when Buster Faulkner, then at Georgia Tech, recruited him out of Columbia High in Atlanta. That connection brought Baugh to Gainesville and laid the groundwork for his development under a staff that values versatility.
New Leadership, New Schemes
Head coach Jon Sumrall arrived with a fresh philosophy, and offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner returns to the role he once held at Georgia Tech. Their combined vision emphasizes a balanced attack that leverages both the run and the pass.
The backfield will feature not only Baugh but also redshirt freshman Duke Clark, who showed promise before a collarbone injury halted his freshman campaign, and transfer Evan Pryor, whose speed and home‑run ability add a dynamic element to the rushing attack.
Depth and Versatility in the Backfield
Byron Louis rounds out the group, providing depth and the ability to spell Baugh when needed. Across two seasons, Baugh has also contributed 37 receptions for 243 yards and three touchdowns, illustrating his involvement in the passing game.
Pryor’s collegiate résumé includes 25 catches for 288 yards and two scores at Cincinnati, underscoring his dual-threat capabilities. Together, the quartet offers the Gators a mix of size, speed, and experience that could make Florida’s offense one of the most unpredictable in the SEC.
