Rudder High School announced this week that Jae Fadde will take over as head baseball coach, bringing a blend of analytical expertise and on‑field experience to the Rangers program. The appointment comes after a challenging 2026 season in which the team posted only ten victories and failed to qualify for the playoffs for the seventh consecutive year.
A Strategic Return
Fadde’s journey to Rudder began long before his recent return to Bryan‑College Station. From 2008 to 2018 he served as a video coordinator for Texas A&M football, a role that honed his ability to translate data into strategic insight. He later expanded his scope to baseball, overseeing video operations for the Aggies’ program between 2013 and 2016.
His next stop was the University of Missouri, where he directed baseball player development and operations, further deepening his understanding of player growth and team dynamics. In 2022 he came back to the Bryan‑College Station area to assume a leadership role in Texas A&M’s softball program, a move that rekindled his connection to the local sports community.
Beyond his analytical work, Fadde has spent the past three years teaching and coaching at Rudder High School, building relationships with players and staff while earning a reputation for meticulous preparation. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana and a master’s from Purdue University, credentials that reflect both academic rigor and a commitment to continuous learning.
Now, as the Rangers look to break out of a prolonged slump, Fadde brings a clear vision: to blend modern analytics with traditional coaching principles, fostering a culture of accountability and improvement. He hopes to translate the data‑driven strategies that defined his SEC tenure into tangible wins on the diamond.
The administration expresses confidence that his blend of technical acumen and hands‑on experience will revitalize the program, aiming to restore competitiveness and, ultimately, a postseason berth. Community members and alumni alike are watching closely as the new coaching era begins.
