President Don Anderson pointed to a lack of execution in front of goal as the primary factor behind the loss, noting that the team squandered a 5‑4 lead before the Greeks pulled away.
Key players Tayjon Street and Avery Grant were unavailable, Street serving a suspension and Grant nursing an injury, which further strained the lineup.
Looking ahead
Anderson said the federation will seek to bring in more high‑quality athletes of Jamaican descent and schedule at least one international friendly before the May tournament.
Despite the setback, he remains confident that the squad, comprised largely of teenagers, can continue to develop and compete on the world stage.
