Four-star safety Jayden Aparicio-Bailey announced his commitment to Clemson University, opting for the Tigers over the Georgia Bulldogs after taking official visits to both campuses.
Commitment Details
The 247Sports Composite places him at No. 15 among safeties and No. 175 overall in the national class rankings, and he is listed as the eighth-best player from Alabama.
Aparicio-Bailey cited the coaching staff and the program’s trajectory as decisive factors, despite lingering interest from Georgia.
His addition is expected to bolster Clemson’s secondary as the Tigers look to maintain defensive depth in the upcoming season.
Georgia, still active in the 2027 market, recently appeared in the top five for four-star safety Davion Jones and secured a pledge from three-star defensive lineman Antwan McKoy.
