His offseason testing numbers are eye‑catching: a 41‑inch vertical jump, a 1.53‑second 10‑yard split and a top speed of 22.9 miles per hour, all recorded by GPS tracking and verified by Director of Football Strength and Conditioning Jason Veltkamp.
Entering his second year with the Hilltoppers, Lewis started every game in 2025, finishing tied for second on the team with 74 tackles while also leading the defense with 3.5 tackles for loss. He logged at least two tackles in each contest, highlighted by a career‑high 15 stops against LSU, including a sack.
His performance earned him CUSA Defensive Player of the Week honors after a pivotal win over Sam Houston, and he was recognized on the Athlon Sports Preseason All‑Conference USA First Team and the Phil Steele Preseason CUSA All‑Conference Second Team.
