The Vol Network announced that Jayson Swain will once again share the broadcast booth with play‑by‑play veteran Mike Keith, this time in the role of color analyst. Swain’s return marks the continuation of a partnership that has become a staple for Tennessee Volunteers fans across the state.
Swain replaces Ramon Foster, who spent a single season as the network’s color analyst before departing for a front‑office position with the Tennessee Titans. Foster’s departure was noted not only for his on‑air contributions but also for his popular morning show on 104.5 The Zone, based out of Nashville.
From Gridiron to Airwaves
Before stepping into the microphone, Swain enjoyed a four‑year tenure as a wide receiver for the Volunteers, amassing 126 receptions for more than 1,700 yards and ten touchdowns in 50 games. His collegiate success laid the groundwork for a seamless transition into broadcasting, a path he began shortly after hanging up his cleats.
Over the past five years, Swain has already become a familiar face to listeners, co‑hosting the halftime and post‑game segments of the Vol Network’s flagship program. His deep familiarity with the team’s culture and playbook equips him to provide insightful analysis that resonates with both longtime supporters and newer fans.
