The Jamestown Community College men's soccer program enters the 2026 season with a palpable sense of optimism, having retained 15 of the previous year's roster and welcoming a fresh coaching direction.
A New Coaching Era
Jesse da Costa, a former Jayhawk standout who spent several years as an assistant under Pat Anderson, now leads the squad, bringing both playing experience and a reputation for clear communication.
Among the returning talent, Adam Doyle, Liam Doyle and Casimiro Espeso were recognized as all-conference selections, with Espeso earning second-team all-region honors and leading the team with ten assists last season.
Espeso said the group is eager to translate that experience into a deeper playoff run, while Adam Doyle expressed excitement about the squad's chemistry and the energy surrounding practices.
Jack Morris, who joined the program last year, highlighted the work ethic of the newcomers and the tight-knit atmosphere that has developed during offseason workouts.

With a blend of seasoned contributors and motivated newcomers, the 2026 JCC men's soccer squad hopes to translate its renewed confidence into tangible results on the field.
