JE Dunn Construction has secured a multi-year jersey sponsorship deal with the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) men's basketball team, marking the firm’s inaugural partnership with the program.
A Strategic Partnership for Kansas City Athletics
The agreement will take effect for the 2026-27 season, during which JE Dunn’s logo will appear on the Roos jerseys, signaling a new branding era for the team.
Tim Dunn, chairman of JE Dunn Construction, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to Kansas City’s growing sports landscape and its ambition to elevate local athletics.
Brandon Martin, UMKC vice chancellor and athletics director, described the collaboration as a shared commitment to the development of Kansas City and to the future of Roos basketball.
Mark Turgeon, recently appointed head coach of the Roos, will lead the team as it embraces the new sponsorship and aims to compete at a higher level.
UMKC plans to return to the historic Municipal Auditorium for the 2026-27 season, a venue that has long been a centerpiece of Kansas City’s sports culture and now stands to benefit from the renewed partnership.
The deal also highlights JE Dunn’s long-standing presence in the community, reinforcing its dedication to supporting local initiatives and infrastructure projects that shape the city’s future.
