A New Era for Pacific Knights Basketball
Warner Pacific University has named Jeff Drinkwine as the new head coach of its men’s basketball program, tapping a veteran with more than 25 years of experience across every tier of the sport.
Drinkwine’s career spans high school sidelines, NCAA Division I, II, III, junior college and NAIA environments, giving him a rare breadth of perspective that he brings to the Pacific Northwest.
His coaching philosophy centers on transformational growth, using teamwork, accountability and discipline to foster development both on the court and in the classroom.
Having coached in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and other regional leagues, Drinkwine is deeply familiar with the talent pool and competitive landscape of the area, making his return to the conference a natural homecoming.
Athletic Director Matt Gregg highlighted the coach’s extensive network and his proven ability to build winning cultures, stating that Drinkwine’s appointment aligns with the university’s tradition of basketball excellence.
