James Madison University’s field hockey program marked a milestone this week as it welcomed seven new freshmen who will join the 2026 roster, a group that blends international flair with regional talent.

Dutch midfielder Diede Donders, who finished second at the Dutch National Championships in 2023‑24, joins the squad alongside Ella Dunstan, a four‑time Mercy Catholic College Athlete of the Year, and Emilia Goldsmith, who helped her team finish second in Supercity and third in the Federation Cup.
