Former NHL standout Joe Pavelski captured the Drive Fore Kids celebrity golf tournament in Falmouth, Maine, securing the top spot with a final tally of 40 points.
After opening the competition in fourth place with 19 points, Pavelski surged ahead through a series of strong holes, ultimately edging out his rivals to claim victory.
A Comeback for a Cause
The event, which blends sports and philanthropy, drew a field of notable athletes, including former tennis pro Mardy Fish, who finished second with 39 points, and Blair O’Neal, a former pro golfer turned television personality, who placed third with 37 points. MLS MVP Taylor Twellman matched O’Neal’s score, tying for third.
All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Dempsey Center and the MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, with the charity announcing that the day’s play raised $210,000 for these institutions.
Chad Pfeifer, the 2025 national amputee golf champion, rounded out the top five with 28 points, underscoring the event’s inclusive spirit.
