John Agnau, a 6'5" guard known for his shooting efficiency and adaptability, has officially signed with Campbell University, joining the Camels ahead of the upcoming season.
Coach Jimmie Williams expressed enthusiasm about the new addition, highlighting Agnau's skill set, his commitment to the team, and the importance of family in his decision to transfer.
A Record of Production
During his tenure at North Dakota College State College of Science, Agnau averaged 12.8 points per game while shooting 48% from the floor. He reached double‑digit scoring in 20 games and posted a season‑best 26 points, helping his former squad finish with a 26‑6 record before falling in the Region XIII championship game.
The Camels will benefit from three years of eligibility remaining, giving the program a reliable scoring option and a player who can stretch defenses with his perimeter shooting.
Looking Ahead
With Agnau’s versatility and work ethic, Campbell University hopes to bolster its offensive firepower and maintain competitiveness in the conference. The coaching staff believes his presence will also reinforce a culture that values both athletic performance and personal commitment.
