Jordan Bowman Steps into Expanded Role at Coastal Carolina
Jordan Bowman, a North Carolina native who played high school baseball at West Caldwell High School, has been elevated to Director of Baseball and Equipment Operations for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. The promotion, announced by head coach Chris Lemonis, comes as Bowman begins his third season with the program.
In his expanded capacity, Bowman will oversee field logistics, equipment management, practice setups, batting cage operations, and day‑to‑day maintenance of the playing surface. He will also coordinate practice schedules, supervise the program’s student‑manager staff, and provide on‑field support during workouts, including throwing batting practice and hitting fungoes.
Coach Lemonis highlighted Bowman’s team‑first mindset and meticulous attention to detail, noting that the student‑athletes have come to rely on his behind‑the‑scenes contributions. “Jordan’s dedication to the program’s success is evident in every facet of our operation,” Lemonis said in the announcement.
Bowman expressed gratitude for the opportunity, stating his commitment to supporting the Chanticleers’ competitive edge and fostering a culture of excellence. He previously honed his skills as a student manager at the University of Charlotte, where he handled travel coordination, technology operations, and player services.
