Jordan Glover is set to bring his extensive basketball knowledge to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as the new video coordinator for the women's basketball team. Head coach Lindy La Rocque expressed enthusiasm about Glover's addition, highlighting his proven work ethic and the fresh perspective he will contribute to the program.
A Coach With a Varied Path
Glover's career has spanned multiple levels of the game. He previously served as a men's assistant coach at Paris Junior College in Texas, led the boys' varsity team in the Carson City School District, and directed operations for Capital City Hoops, a non‑profit basketball initiative. His tenure also includes roles as executive director of the Nevada Basketball Academy and a four‑year stint as a basketball manager with the Reno Bighorns, the NBA G‑League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings.
Beyond club and college experience, Glover has worked in both the public and private sectors of basketball development, including stints with the Nevada Basketball Academy and various community outreach programs. This breadth of experience equips him to handle the analytical and preparatory demands of a Division I program.
Elevating the Lady Rebels
Coach La Rocque believes Glover's background will help the Lady Rebels sharpen their strategic approach and improve player development through advanced video analysis. The addition is part of a broader effort to strengthen the program's infrastructure and competitiveness within the Mountain West Conference.
Glover's appointment underscores UNLV's commitment to integrating experienced talent that can translate diverse basketball experiences into actionable insights for the team. His role will focus on creating scouting reports, editing game footage, and supporting the coaching staff with data‑driven tools.
