Jordan-Hare Stadium climbs to No. 14 in EA Sports’ toughest college football venues

The Auburn venue improves its ranking this year, reflecting a strong home record and fierce SEC competition.

Jordan-Hare climbs the ranks

Electronic Arts has unveiled its annual Top-20 ranking of the most challenging stadiums to play in college football, a list that arrives just weeks before the launch of College Football 27.

Among the venues, Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama, has moved up to the 14th spot, a notable jump from its 17th position a year ago, underscoring the venue’s growing reputation.

The stadium’s historic home record of 346 wins, 95 losses and seven ties since opening adds to its mystique, even as its haunted reputation continues to capture the imagination of fans.

SEC powerhouses dominate the list

Eight members of the Southeastern Conference appear higher on the list, with LSU’s Tiger Stadium claiming the No. 1 position as the toughest environment for visiting teams.

Other SEC powerhouses such as Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Texas and South Carolina also feature prominently, reflecting the conference’s deep talent pool and intense atmospheres.

The upcoming release of College Football 27 on July 9 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC will let players experience these iconic venues virtually, adding a new layer of realism to the game.
