Jordan Keller, a senior catcher from Ellwood City, has been named Trib HSSN baseball player of the week after a standout performance that helped his team advance to the WPIAL Class 3A championship game.
The Wolverines secured a 6-5 victory over Riverside in the semifinals, marking the first time in 14 years that the program has reached the title game, a milestone that has energized the local community.
Keller is batting .527 this season and has already hit four home runs while driving in 22 runs, statistics that place him at the top of his team in nearly every offensive category.
A dual‑sport standout
Beyond baseball, Keller also excels on the golf course, having finished 26th in the 2026 WPIAL Class 2A championships, showcasing his versatility as an athlete.
He plans to continue his education at Fairmont State, where he intends to study business management and accounting, balancing his athletic ambitions with academic goals.
