Jordan Seaton, LSU’s highly touted offensive tackle, chose Memorial Stadium as the backdrop for his inaugural Elite Camp, inviting young athletes from across the region to experience a day of skill work and mentorship.
A Community‑Focused Inaugural Camp
The event was split into two sessions, with the younger cohort taking the early slot. This structure allowed Seaton to tailor instruction to different age groups while maintaining a focused, energetic atmosphere throughout the stadium.
Although Seaton hails from outside the Baton Rouge area, he emphasized the importance of leaving a tangible mark in the city where he now trains. ‘I want to give back while I’m here,’ he said, noting his intention to organize similar camps both in his hometown and wherever his career takes him.
During a nostalgic moment, Seaton recalled attending a youth camp led by Stefon Diggs, a memory that shaped his own approach to mentorship. After the first session, Baton Rouge Mayor‑President presented Seaton with a certificate of commendation, recognizing his dedication to community service.
Looking forward, Seaton expressed enthusiasm for expanding the camp model, aiming to create a lasting pipeline of outreach that blends athletic development with character building. His vision reflects a broader commitment to leveraging his platform for positive change in Louisiana and beyond.
