The 6‑foot‑2, 185‑pound cornerback transferred from Catawba Ridge High School in Fort Mill, South Carolina, to Hough High School in North Carolina, where he helped the Hawks capture the 2026 N.C. High School Athletic Association 8A state title.
Dobson will step into the outside corner role vacated by the graduation of Samari Matthews, a loss the Gamecocks hope to offset with his elite coverage skills and playmaking ability.
