Summer Soccer Camp Returns to Delridge Playfields
West Seattle’s two community soccer powerhouses, Junction FC and Rhodies FC, are joining forces to host a week‑long summer camp at Delridge Playfields.
The camp will run each day from August 3 through August 7, with sessions scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., giving families a full‑day option during the school break.
Organizers say the program is designed for players of every skill level, from beginners eager to learn the basics to more experienced youths looking to sharpen their game.
What’s on the Schedule?
Each morning will begin with targeted skill development drills, followed by small‑sided matches that emphasize teamwork and tactical awareness.
Afternoons will feature fun competitions and games that reinforce the day’s lessons while keeping the atmosphere light and engaging.
Leadership on the Field
Junction FC and Rhodies FC coaches and players will serve as instructors, offering direct mentorship and the chance to learn from local talent.
The collaborative effort underscores the clubs’ commitment to growing soccer in West Seattle and providing a positive, community‑focused environment.
