Princeton University announced Tuesday that Justin Bradley has been appointed assistant coach of the Tigers' men's basketball program, bringing a résumé that spans several mid‑major powerhouses and a reputation for developing winning cultures.
A Coaching Journey Across the Country
Bradley first made a name for himself at Loyola‑Chicago, where he contributed to the Ramblers' Atlantic 10 regular‑season championship in 2024 and guided the team to consecutive 20‑win campaigns. His work helped the program maintain a competitive edge in a crowded conference.
Recognition and Rising Profile
His contributions earned him repeated spots on Silver Waves Media's Most Impactful Mid‑Major Division I Assistant Coaches list through 2022, 2023 and 2024, and he was selected as a 2025 Silver Waves Media NXT Up luncheon invitee. In 2018, Bradley also received the National Association of Basketball Coaches' 30‑under‑30 honor, highlighting his early impact on the sport.
From Seattle to the Ivy League
Before arriving at Princeton, Bradley honed his skills at Seattle University during the 2022‑23 season, then moved to Dartmouth where he rose to associate head coach before the 2020‑21 campaign. At Williams College, he helped the Ephs reach the NCAA Division III Final Four in 2017, and earlier he served as director of basketball operations at North Carolina Central University, overseeing a period in which the Eagles posted a combined 54‑13 record in Mid‑Eastern Atlantic Conference play.
Education and Early Foundations
Bradley earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Guilford College in 2013, followed by a master's degree in athletic administration from North Carolina Central University in July 2016, providing a blend of academic insight and practical leadership.
The university community looks forward to seeing how Bradley's diverse experiences will enrich the Tigers' strategy and player development as they aim for a strong season ahead.
