Kade Pieper, an offensive lineman who helped anchor Iowa’s award‑winning line last season, has been selected for the 2026 Big Ten preseason honors list.
He is the sole representative from Iowa’s line on the 12‑player preseason squad, a testament to the unit’s depth after earning the Joe Moore Award for the best offensive line in the nation.
The Hawkeyes will have to rebuild, as three starters from the championship‑winning line have been drafted into the NFL, but Pieper’s recognition signals continuity.
