Kaholi Krau, a Baldwin High School graduate, has officially committed to the Utah State Aggies, where he will continue both his football career and his academic pursuits.
A Towering Presence on the Field
Standing 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 315 pounds, Krau brings a rare combination of size, strength, versatility and agility to the offensive line. Over the past three years he trained at IMG Academy in Florida, capturing two championships before returning to Baldwin for his senior season.
His athletic journey has taken him beyond the mainland, with competitions in Ireland, London, Mexico and Japan, experiences that have broadened his perspective and honed his skills against diverse competition.
Academic Excellence and Guidance
Krau has maintained a 4.1 GPA, emphasizing the importance of classroom achievement alongside athletic ambition. He frequently advises fellow student‑athletes to prioritize good grades and cultivate a positive reputation.
A Strategic Choice
With more than 50 scholarship offers on the table, Krau selected Utah State for its strong academic reputation and the opportunity to work under head coach Bronco Mendenhall, whose coaching record speaks to program stability and success. He expressed gratitude to his family, coaches and teammates for their unwavering support.
