Charleston Southern University has named Kailie Quinn as its fourth and final assistant coach for the women’s basketball program, rounding out the staff for the 2026‑27 season.
Quinn arrives after two seasons at Utah State, where she helped shape offensive schemes that emphasized pace, spacing and decision‑making, while also overseeing opponent scouting and film analysis.
Her tenure at Utah State was preceded by stints at Westminster University, Dixie State University and Grand Canyon University, during which she managed recruiting, player development, and program operations across multiple Division I environments.
A Faith‑Driven Approach
Quinn’s coaching philosophy centers on character, integrity and servant leadership, aiming to help young women discover purpose and confidence both on and off the court.
She blends analytical tools with a commitment to faith and relationships, bringing a perspective that aligns athletic ambition with personal growth.
The university hopes her expertise in player development and recruiting will strengthen the Buccaneers’ competitive identity and elevate performance in the coming season.
Quinn holds an MBA in Sports Marketing from Grand Canyon University and a bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing with a minor in Sports Coaching from Weber State University, where she captained the women’s basketball team.
Her addition completes a coaching roster that the athletic department describes as a blend of strategic insight, analytical rigor and a deep sense of purpose.
