Kaitlyn Keathley appointed director of basketball operations
Bellarmine University has appointed Kaitlyn Keathley as director of basketball operations for its women's basketball program, a move that underscores the institution's commitment to building a competitive and sustainable future for the Cardinals.
Keathley comes to Bellarmine after serving as an assistant coach at Mississippi College and Cameron University, where she contributed to player development, strategic planning, and community outreach initiatives.
A distinguished playing career
A Pikeville, Kentucky native, she earned a bachelor's degree in university studies and a master's in sports management from Morehead State University, institutions where she also distinguished herself as a four‑year starter and three‑time captain on the court.
During her collegiate playing career at Presbyterian College and Morehead State, Keathley was recognized on the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll, earned third‑team All‑State honors, and amassed more than 1,400 points, 500 rebounds, 400 assists and 350 steals.
Expressing excitement about joining the Bellarmine community, Keathley said she looks forward to contributing to the team's success and helping the program reach new heights.
University leaders praised her blend of competitive experience and academic insight, noting that her leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Cardinals basketball.
