Kansas Baseball Unveils 2027 Schedule
The University of Kansas baseball program, together with the Big 12 Conference, released the 2027 schedule on Thursday, outlining a 30‑game lineup that is evenly divided between home and away contests.
Fans can look forward to 15 home dates at Hoglund Ballpark in Lawrence, where the team will host traditional rivals such as Arizona State, Texas Tech, Cincinnati, Oklahoma State and Kansas State.
The road portion will take the Jayhawks to venues across the country, including trips to West Virginia, Baylor in Waco, UCF in Orlando, Utah and a final showdown in Arizona.
In addition to the regular season, Kansas will compete in the Frisco Classic from March 5‑7, facing Southern Mississippi, Oklahoma and UC Irvine in a preseason showcase.
Big 12 Coach of the Year Dan Fitzgerald highlighted the competitiveness of the slate, noting that the schedule reflects the conference’s depth and the team’s recent momentum.
The 2026 season already set a high bar, with Kansas posting a 45‑18 record, capturing the Big 12 regular‑season title and securing a second consecutive NCAA Tournament berth, a feat not achieved since 1949.
Looking ahead, the program will host its first ever Lawrence Regional and Lawrence Super Regional, underscoring the growing prominence of Kansas baseball on the national stage.
