The Kansas baseball team is set to travel to Dyersville, Iowa, for an exhibition contest on October 10, where they will meet Southern Miss, UC Irvine and the defending national champion Oklahoma, a squad that eliminated the Jayhawks in the Lawrence Super Regional last season.
The venue, nestled beside the iconic Field of Dreams site, has already welcomed Major League Baseball and minor‑league action, and next summer it will become the home of the Dyersville Dreamers, a new Northwoods League franchise.
