Kansas City Women's Soccer unveils 2026 signing class
The university’s soccer program announced Wednesday that it will welcome ten new student‑athletes for the 2026 season, a cohort that blends domestic standouts with talent from across North America.
Nine of the newcomers will be first‑year players, while one will transfer from another institution, giving the roster immediate depth and experience.
Spotlight on key arrivals
Abigail Chaddock, a midfielder from Peoria, Illinois, arrives after a four‑year starter career at Peoria Notre Dame High School, where she amassed the most wins in program history.
Emily Currid, a defender hailing from Pepper Pike, Ohio, joins after earning All‑Ohio and All‑Greater Cleveland honors and being named team MVP at Gilmour Academy.
The class also features Emilie Dagnault from Montréal, Québec, who starred at Félix‑Leclerc Secondary School, and Ava Edwards from Shawnee, Kansas, a graduate of Mill Valley High School.
Additional signees include Brooklyn Lupinacci of King City, Ontario, who was crowned athlete of the year at her school, and Ava Nowak, a goalkeeper from Vaughan, Ontario, who ranks 54th nationally among the class of 2026.
Other prospects rounding out the group are Liv Orosco from Kansas City, Mia Ozanne from Madison, Wisconsin, Mia Urosevich from Omaha, Nebraska, and Olivia Waters from Edmond, Oklahoma, who transferred from Rose State College.
Looking ahead to the season
The Roos open their regular season at Iowa State on August 16 before hosting Rockhurst at home on August 21, setting the stage for a promising debut campaign.
Coach comments highlighted the blend of youth and experience, noting that the new arrivals will add versatility and competitive edge to the squad.
