Kansas High School Baseball Announces 2026 All-League Honorees

Statewide accolades highlight standout players, pitchers, and coaches across multiple divisions

A Season of Recognition

The Kansas high school baseball landscape concluded another prolific year with the release of the 2026 All-League teams, a snapshot of talent spread across the state’s many divisions. From the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail to the Centennial League, each circuit produced a roster of standout athletes whose performances defined the season.

In the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail’s Division I, Gavin Short of Maize earned Player of the Year honors, while pitcher Porter Newell collected the Pitcher of the Year award, and Rocky Helm was celebrated as Coach of the Year. The first‑team lineup also featured Hudson Halstead and Jaxon Anthony, among other key contributors.

Division II saw Grayton Gross of Salina Central crowned Player of the Year, with Jordey Pierce of Arkansas City and Bodie Rodriguez of Salina Central sharing Pitcher of the Year honors, and Mark Vaughn taking Coach of the Year.

Division III recognized Parker Clubb of Mulvane as Player of the Year, Grey Sanders as Pitcher of the Year, and Steve Nelson as Coach of the Year.

In Division IV, Maddox Drumright from Wichita Collegiate was named Player of the Year, Andrew Poss of Rose Hill earned Pitcher of the Year, and Adam Krol of Andale was selected Coach of the Year.

The Big East and Centennial League each contributed standout names; Aiden Newbery of Washburn Rural was selected Player of the Year in the Centennial League, while McLain Aslin of Manhattan captured Newcomer of the Year. Don Hess of Manhattan and Jay Mastin of Washburn Rural shared Coach of the Year honors.

Additional divisions, including Central Kansas, Central Plains and the CNC, highlighted players such as Ty Heitschmidt, Brody Lee, Cam Kilgore, Hunter Cox, Reece Tolar, Gabe Brown, Cartson Simmons and Brady Badart, rounding out a statewide panorama of emerging talent.

The awards not only celebrate individual excellence but also reflect the depth of high school baseball programs across Kansas, setting the stage for the next generation of collegiate and professional prospects.
