Kansas Soccer Reveals 2026 Schedule, Building on Record‑Breaking 2025 Campaign

Eight home games at Rock Chalk Park headline a slate that blends non‑conference tests with a full Big 12 slate

Kansas Soccer unveiled its 2026 schedule on Friday, confirming eight home contests at the iconic Rock Chalk Park and a full slate of eleven Big 12 Conference matches.

A historic season ahead

The announcement follows a record‑breaking 2025 campaign in which the Jayhawks posted a 16‑6‑3 record, advanced to the Sweet 16 and established new single‑season highs for goals, corner kicks and points.

Fans will open the season on Aug. 12 with a home matchup against Utah State, and later in September the team will travel to Saint Louis for a rematch of the 2024 NCAA Tournament first‑round game.

Big 12 play begins on Sept. 18 at Cincinnati and will conclude on Nov. 5 when Kansas hosts Texas Tech, a game that also marks the end of the regular season and a potential seed for the conference tournament.

The top eight teams will qualify for the 2026 Big 12 Soccer Tournament, with the championship site to be announced later, while the Jayhawks prepare to play in six different states — including Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, Utah, Texas and Colorado — and will meet Kent State for the first time in program history.

Record crowds filled Rock Chalk Park throughout 2025, with three of the venue’s all‑time highest attendances recorded, and season tickets as well as single‑game tickets will go on sale in the coming weeks, accompanied by forthcoming broadcast and promotional schedules.
