Kansas State Unveils 2026‑27 Basketball Schedule
The University of Kansas State has unveiled its full slate for the 2026‑27 men’s basketball season, a schedule that blends familiar conference battles with a handful of fresh challenges.
At the heart of the slate is the Sunflower Showdown, the long‑standing rivalry with the University of Kansas that remains a protected marquee matchup in the Big 12.
Next season the Wildcats will also host and travel to face two of the league’s newest members, adding a layer of excitement as the conference continues to evolve.
Home fans can look forward to contests against Arizona, Colorado, Houston, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas Tech, while the road trip will take the team to Baylor, BYU, UCF, Iowa State, Utah and West Virginia.
Beyond the conference grind, Kansas State will test itself against a diverse set of opponents, including South Dakota State, California Northridge, Lindenwood, Omaha, IU Indy, Montana, Creighton and Wichita State on campus, and will meet Seton Hall, Gonzaga and a host of other teams at the Players Era tournament in Las Vegas.
Exact start times and television designations will be released in the coming weeks, giving supporters a chance to plan their viewing parties.
University officials said the schedule reflects the program’s ambition and its commitment to competing at the highest level.
