Kansas State Announces 2026‑27 Non‑Conference Basketball Schedule

Nine home games, a Vegas tournament and a renewed early‑season test

A bold non‑conference slate

Kansas State has unveiled the non‑conference portion of its 2026‑27 men’s basketball schedule, a slate that blends home‑court comfort with high‑profile road tests.

The Wildcats will open the season on November 3 against South Dakota State, marking the 123rd year of Kansas State men’s basketball. The game kicks off a stretch that will see the team play 19 home contests, nine of which are slated for Bramlage Coliseum.

Season tickets went on sale June 16, and fans who held tickets in the 2025‑26 campaign must renew by July 31 to keep their seats. Public tickets will become available this fall, giving the broader community a chance to join the action.

A highlight of the schedule is the Players Era 16 tournament in Las Vegas, running from November 24‑27. Kansas State will be grouped with Gonzaga, Alabama or Baylor in the field, promising a showcase of talent on the national stage.

The Wildcats will also travel to Kansas City for the 14th Wildcat Classic at the T‑Mobile Center on December 11, and later face Seton Hall in Newark on December 4, completing a home‑and‑home series with the Pirates.

While the full Big 12 conference schedule will be released later, the announced non‑conference slate already sets a tone of ambition. Coach Casey Alexander said the lineup reflects a desire to test the team early and build momentum heading into league play.
