Kansas State Unveils 2026‑27 Non‑Conference Basketball Schedule

Home openers, road tests and a Las Vegas tournament highlight the upcoming season

Kansas State basketball has unveiled its non‑conference slate for the 2026‑27 season, a schedule that blends early‑season home openers with a handful of road tests and a marquee appearance in the Players Era 16 tournament in Las Vegas.

Key Matchups

The Wildcats open at home on November 3 against South Dakota State, then follow with four additional home games versus Cal State Northridge, Creighton, Montana and Campbell before stepping into conference play.

A neutral‑court showdown with Wichita State at the T‑Mobile Center in Kansas City is slated for December 11, while the only true road game before Big 12 action comes on December 4 at Seton Hall.

In Las Vegas the team will open the Players Era 16 tournament on November 24 against Gonzaga before the rest of the field is revealed.

K‑State will close out its non‑conference slate with home contests against Little Rock, Lindenwood and Omaha, and will also host an exhibition matchup with Missouri on October 23 at Bramlage Coliseum.

During Big 12 play the Wildcats are scheduled to host Arizona, Colorado, Houston, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas Tech, while traveling to face Baylor, BYU, UCF, Iowa State, Utah and West Virginia.

With a blend of experienced returnees and fresh talent, the schedule sets the stage for a competitive season that could position Kansas State for a deep postseason run.
