Karly Redman, a graduate transfer from UC Davis, has officially signed with Indiana Field Hockey, slated to arrive in Bloomington this August. Her addition marks a significant boost for the Hoosiers as they look to build on recent successes.

Redman will pursue a master's degree in Public Affairs at Indiana University, continuing a strong academic record that includes a bachelor's in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from UC Davis. The move reflects her commitment to both athletic excellence and scholarly achievement.
A native of La Verne, California, Redman brings a distinguished high school pedigree, having earned All‑Sunset League First Team honors, Offensive MVP, and a CIF Tournament of Champions All‑Tournament selection at Bonita High School. She also excelled at the club level with HTC‑CA, VCRD, and LA Riptide, showcasing versatility and leadership.
During her collegiate career, she logged 41 appearances with 21 starts, tallying 10 goals and an assist, and earned a medical redshirt in 2023. Her breakout 2025 season saw eight goals, culminating in MPSF Offensive Player of the Year and First Team accolades, underscoring her scoring instincts.
Redman cited the intensity of Indiana’s athletics and the welcoming environment of the coaching staff as key factors in her decision. She will join a roster that includes teammates such as Kayla Bashore, Elle Obenour, Helen Grahe, Gabriela Garayo Aranceta, Mika Black, and others, all eager to contribute to the team's competitive edge.
