Kate McManaman, a forward for the Georgetown University field hockey team, was named to the BIG EAST Field Hockey Weekly Honor Roll after a standout weekend that featured two goals and three assists.
Her contributions helped the Hoyas finish the weekend with a 1‑1 record, underscoring her impact on both ends of the field.
Key Performances
In a commanding 6‑0 victory over Lock Haven, McManaman scored two goals and added two assists, a performance that coincided with Georgetown’s highest goal total since the 2022 campaign.
Although Georgetown fell 3‑1 to Towson, the sophomore recorded an assist in that match, illustrating her consistent involvement in the team's offensive efforts.
The Hoyas are scheduled to take on Richmond this Friday, a contest that will test the momentum generated over the weekend and provide another platform for McManaman to showcase her skills.
