A New Face in MENA Soccer Broadcasting
beIN Sports has named Kaylyn Kyle as the new lead presenter for its English‑language soccer coverage in the Middle East and North Africa, filling the vacancy left by Richard Keys, who departed the network after more than a decade.
Kyle's appointment comes after a four‑year stint as a Major League Soccer broadcaster on Apple TV, where she honed her on‑air presence alongside a distinguished playing career that included two World Cup appearances and an Olympic bronze medal at London 2012.
Having already contributed to beIN's coverage of the 2022 Qatar men's World Cup, she will now serve as executive presenter, debuting her role by introducing a Premier League clash between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest that will be beamed to viewers across the region.
Keys and his longtime partner Andy Gray exited beIN after 13 years in Doha, a move that followed a series of controversies involving sexist remarks and a subsequent fallout that saw both men launch a YouTube series titled "Keys and Gray Unleashed."
The transition marks a strategic shift for the network, which is looking to refresh its soccer presentation slate as demand for Premier League and UEFA Champions League content continues to rise among fans in the MENA market.
