Kansas City Women's Soccer has announced its 18‑game slate for the 2026 season, a schedule that blends early‑season exhibitions with a rigorous Summit League slate and a finale that will stretch into November.
The Roos open with two tune‑up matches against Arkansas and Butler Community College before launching their regular season on the road at Iowa State on August 16.
A home opener against cross‑town rivals Rockhurst follows on August 21, setting the tone for a season that will see nine contests at Durwood Soccer Stadium.
Perhaps the most anticipated early‑season clash arrives on August 23, when the Roos host UC Riverside in a reunion for head coach Jess Smith and her former mentor Mike Dibbini.
The roster of opponents reads like a who's‑who of regional powerhouses: Creighton, the University of Kansas, Missouri State, Memphis, Little Rock and Oral Roberts all appear on the calendar, while Summit League play begins against Oral Roberts on September 24.
After a four‑game road trip from September 27 through October 11, the Roos will close the regular season with a mix of home and away fixtures against North Dakota, North Dakota State, St. Thomas and Omaha, before the Summit League Championships unfold from November 6‑15.
Season tickets are now on sale through the KC Roos website, with plans starting at $50, while single‑game tickets will become available on July 13.
