State Baseball Tournament Returns to Iowa Screens
KCRG announced that it will broadcast and live‑stream every game of the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s State Baseball Tournament from July 20 through July 24, giving viewers across the state a chance to follow the action in real time.
The first round of quarterfinal play will take place on Monday, with the Class 3A and Class 1A matchups split between two host cities. Games in the 3A division will be held at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids, while the 1A contests will be staged at Merchants Park in Carroll.
Broadcast coverage will be split across KCRG’s secondary channels, with 3A and 4A games airing on channel 9.2 and the 2A and 1A games on channel 9.3. In addition, all games will be streamed live on the station’s website and mobile app, making the tournament accessible on smart TVs and handheld devices.

Meanwhile, the 1A bracket includes Newman Catholic versus Ankeny Christian, South Winneshiek versus Notre Dame, Burlington versus St. Mary’s, Remsen versus North Linn, and Coon Rapids‑Bayard versus Moravia.
