Just over twenty minutes later, Luisa Fontes added a second strike, extending the lead to 2-0 and forcing Barry to chase the game.
Barry answered back in the 71st minute, pulling one back to make it 2-1, but the Seahawks' backline, anchored by goalkeeper Mio Tanaka, repelled the remaining threats.
Tanaka finished the match with three shots faced, making two crucial saves that preserved the narrow advantage.
The debut of several newcomers added depth to the squad: Avril Amil Ruiz, Ainara Esain, Ane Buer and Victoria Clark all saw action, signaling a promising infusion of talent.
