A camp with a purpose
San Antonio Spurs forward Keldon Johnson, the reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year, will bring his basketball expertise to Laredo this August.
The Keldon Johnson Sixth Man Basketball Experience is scheduled for August 9, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Border City Sportsplex, where participants aged five to eighteen can take part in drills, skill‑development sessions and friendly competitions.
Registration costs $85 per athlete and includes a camp T‑shirt, an autographed photo, a personal snapshot with Johnson, entry into the competitions and a chance to win prizes.
Johnson, selected by the Spurs in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft, has grown into a fan favorite, known for his energetic play and community involvement.
The camp aims to give youngsters a chance to train under a professional, sharpen their game and interact directly with the star, fostering both skill and love for the sport.
