A Strategic Addition to Alabama Women's Basketball
Alabama's women's basketball program announced the appointment of Keldon Peak as its new associate strength and conditioning coach, a move that promises to sharpen the team's physical edge heading into the upcoming season.
Peak arrives after a four‑year stint at the University of Oklahoma, where he served as a strength coach for the women's basketball team and oversaw conditioning for several other sports, helping the Sooners capture two Big 12 titles and maintain a .740 winning percentage over that span.
Under his direction, Oklahoma became the sole Power Six conference program to finish inside the top eleven nationally in pace, a testament to the efficiency and speed he cultivated in his athletes.
Peak holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science and a master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Oklahoma, and he is a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, credentials that underscore his expertise in injury prevention and performance optimization.
In his new role at Alabama, Peak will design and implement strength programs aimed at enhancing player durability, accelerating recovery, and elevating overall athletic performance, objectives that align with the Crimson Tide's ambition to contend for SEC championships and deep NCAA Tournament runs.
