Kennesaw State University’s men’s basketball program has announced a major overhaul for the upcoming 2026‑27 season, welcoming eight new players who will bolster the roster as the Owls look to retain their Conference USA championship.
A Mix of Experience and Fresh Talent
The incoming class comprises five transfers and three high‑school prospects, blending proven collegiate contributors with top‑rated recruits from across the country.
Among the transfers, Jacoby Hill arrives after averaging 10.0 points per game and earning CUSA Freshman of the Week honors, while CJ Beaumont brings a career‑high 22‑point effort in a first‑round NIT appearance. Avery Thomas II, who posted 9.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game last season, adds depth in the frontcourt, and Kris Parker, a former Villanova guard, contributed 2.6 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest before joining the Owls. Anthony Enoh, who averaged 11.0 points and 6.5 rebounds at Jessup University, rounds out the transfer group with a strong all‑around presence.
High‑School Standouts
The three high‑school signees include Keriawn Berry, the state’s top prospect from Kentucky, Antwane Daniels, who was named Large Schools Boys Player of the Year, and Tobiaz Tolbert, a Regional Player of the Year and GHSA Class 2A First‑Team All‑State selection.
Head coach Antoine Pettway expressed enthusiasm about the new additions, emphasizing that the blend of experienced transfers and elite recruits positions the team for continued success. The Owls have already signed 12 players from Georgia high schools since the spring of 2023, and the latest class will join the three recruits from the fall cycle — Levi Ball, Zyree Brown, and Kyler Theophile — to create a deep and competitive roster.
