Kennesaw State University’s men’s basketball program announced a sweeping roster upgrade for the 2026‑27 season, adding eight new athletes who will join the fight to retain their Conference USA championship.
A Fresh Batch of Talent
The incoming class features five transfers who bring a mix of experience and scoring punch, alongside three high‑school standouts who have already drawn statewide attention.
Jacoby Hill, who averaged 10.0 points per game as a freshman in Conference USA, headlines the transfer group, while CJ Beaumont’s 22‑point outburst in a first‑round NIT game showcases his ability to thrive under pressure. Avery Thomas II, a former fifth‑leading scorer for Louisiana Tech, adds depth at the guard position.
Veteran forward Kris Parker, who previously contributed at Villanova and UCF, and Anthony Enoh, a 11.0‑point, 6.5‑rebound performer at Jessup University, round out the transfer additions, each bringing a proven track record of production.
Coach’s Vision
Head coach Antoine Pettway expressed confidence that the new talent will enhance the team’s culture and raise the standard of play, emphasizing that winning remains the primary motivator for the newcomers.
The Owls will also retain core players Amir Taylor, Trey Simpson and Kaden Rickard, ensuring continuity while integrating fresh faces into a cohesive unit.
A Southern Footprint
Recruits hail from Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky and even international locales, reflecting the program’s expanding footprint beyond the immediate region and underscoring the coach’s emphasis on winning.
With a blend of seasoned transfers and highly touted prospects, Kennesaw State aims to translate its recruiting success into another championship run, leveraging depth, experience and a shared hunger for victory.
