Men’s Basketball Opens Dec. 2
The men’s team will open its conference slate on December 2 at home against Bowling Green, marking the first of 22 games that include a full round‑robin against every MAC rival. Home‑and‑away matchups are set against Akron, with a showdown scheduled for February 13, and the Zips will travel to face Kent State on March 5.
Women’s Basketball Looks to Build Under New Coach
The women’s program will begin its conference schedule on January 2 on the road against Toledo. Over the course of the season the team will play 18 MAC games, hosting Central Michigan and Ohio while traveling to Bowling Green and Miami. First‑year head coach Fran Recchia will guide the squad, bringing a fresh perspective to the roster.
Both programs are slated to play a full complement of conference contests, with the men’s team aiming to extend its recent momentum and the women’s team hoping to capitalize on early‑season home advantages as they chase postseason aspirations.
