Kent State’s men’s basketball program has released its full 2026‑27 Mid‑American Conference schedule, a 22‑game slate that splits the season evenly between home and away contests against every league rival.
Opening the campaign
The first test arrives on December 2, when the Golden Flashes host Bowling Green in their season‑opening showdown. The early non‑conference stretch also includes road trips to Toledo on Dec. 5 and Central Michigan on Dec. 9, followed by a home matchup with UMass on Dec. 12.
After the holiday break, the team returns to action with a home game against Buffalo on Jan. 2, then heads to Ball State on Jan. 5 and Western Michigan on Jan. 9. A pair of home contests against Ohio and Miami (OH) follow on Jan. 12 and Jan. 16, setting the tone for a competitive January.
January’s road swing continues with visits to Eastern Michigan on Jan. 19 and Bowling Green on Jan. 23. The Golden Flashes close the month with home games versus Ball State on Jan. 26 and Central Michigan on Jan. 30, underscoring the team’s balanced approach.
February’s mid‑season push
February brings a series of pivotal matchups, beginning with a road game at Miami (OH) on Feb. 2, then a home contest in the MAC‑Sun Belt Challenge on Feb. 6, and a visit from UMass on Feb. 9. The schedule also features home games against Western Michigan (Feb. 16), Buffalo (Feb. 20) and Ohio (Feb. 23), before the regular season finale at home against Toledo on Feb. 27 and Eastern Michigan on March 2.
The campaign wraps up on the road at Akron on March 5, marking the end of a full‑court journey that has seen the Golden Flashes test themselves against every MAC opponent both on their own floor and on the road.
