The University of Kentucky has released its home non‑conference schedule for the 2026‑27 men’s basketball season, confirming seven games that will open the campaign on its home court.
The first game is set for November 3 against Manhattan, marking the season’s home opener. The slate also includes first‑time matchups with James Madison, Northern Arizona, Grambling State, Bryant and Sacred Heart.
A familiar face returns
James Madison will be led by Preston Spradlin, who previously served on Kentucky’s staff from 2009 to 2014. His move to coach the Dukes creates a direct link between the two programs.
The game will also feature forward Justin McBride, a transfer who committed to Kentucky this offseason and will now face his new team under Spradlin’s direction.
Looking ahead
While television designations and tip times have not yet been announced, the schedule provides a clear framework for fans planning to attend the early games. Additional details are expected in the coming weeks.
The upcoming home games will allow the university to present its non‑conference opponents to local audiences before the team moves into conference play.
