The opening six contests pit Kentucky against Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Missouri, LSU, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State. In each of those matchups the Wildcats enter as favorites, positioning them to start the campaign with a series of victories that could boost confidence early in the year.
Midway through the schedule, the competition intensifies. The Wildcats will face Tennessee twice, travel to Texas for a road test, and host Alabama, while also meeting additional league powerhouses such as South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
