A Scholar‑Athlete Makes History
Khalon Hudson, a guard for the Presbyterian Blue Hose, was recently selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, a distinction that highlights both his athletic contributions and scholarly achievements.
During the 2025‑26 campaign Hudson played a pivotal role in the team’s first ever Big South Tournament semifinal appearance, delivering a season‑high 20‑point effort in a victory over Columbia International University on November 26 and adding 17 points on 7‑of‑8 shooting in a road win at Gardner‑Webb on January 17.
Academic Excellence Recognized
Hudson maintains a 3.32 cumulative GPA while majoring in psychology, meeting the NABC’s minimum 3.2 GPA requirement for the Honors Court. His academic performance underscores the growing emphasis on well‑rounded student‑athletes in collegiate basketball.
