The renovation has transformed the space into a vibrant indoor turf field, ready to host a program designed for children from 18 months up to nine years old.
KidsUnited’s curriculum begins with playful movement for the youngest participants and gradually advances to more technical drills for older kids. Each session accommodates ten to twelve children, overseen by a team of ten dedicated coaches who guide the youngsters through skill‑building exercises that blend sport with personal development.
Ben Lawnicki, the franchise’s owner, made a bold career shift when he left a long‑standing position at Kimberly‑Clark to pursue his passion for youth soccer. He describes the venture as more than a sports program; it is a vehicle for instilling confidence, teamwork and life‑skill fundamentals that he believes will serve the children beyond the field.
Families can expect a complimentary trial class followed by weekly lessons priced at $140 per month. Lawnicki notes that the most enthusiastic responses have come from families with children five years old and younger, underscoring a strong community appetite for early‑age athletic engagement.
The grand opening ceremony, including a ribbon‑cutting and a showcase of the new indoor turf, will be announced in the coming weeks. With a clear focus on nurturing both athletic ability and personal growth, KidsUnited’s Appleton location promises to become a cornerstone of local youth programming.
