A New Chapter for the Bulls
Kody McNear has been appointed head football coach of the Parrish Community High School Bulls, taking the reins after years of service as an assistant. In his first statement, he expressed enthusiasm for leading the team and outlined a vision built around relentless effort and a collective mindset.
McNear emphasized that the Bulls will play with hard work and adopt a process‑focused approach, insisting that the mantra will be ‘we over me.’ He believes that true success stems from every player buying into the team’s goals.
To foster camaraderie, the coach plans to have the entire squad read a single book together. The initiative is designed to spark conversation, strengthen trust and improve communication both on and off the field.
Reading as a Team‑Building Tool
The selected book will serve as a catalyst for dialogue, giving players a shared reference point to discuss values such as accountability, perseverance and unity. McNear hopes the exercise will translate into tighter on‑field chemistry.
