Kody McNear was hired as Parrish Community Football’s head coach in June, replacing Dylan Clark, who departed after three seasons that included three playoff appearances. The transition marks a pivotal moment for a program that has steadily risen in competitiveness over recent years.
McNear arrives with a résumé that includes a stint as the running backs coach for the Bulls and a long‑standing relationship with athletic director Shawn Trent. He previously played under Trent at Lakewood Ranch, giving him a unique insider’s view of the school’s culture and expectations.
One of the early success stories under McNear’s guidance is Jacoby Thomas.
